A Good Year for KPIs
The London clients of the Key Person of Influence Growth Accelerator recently gathered for a wonderful Christmas party and awards ceremony. It has been a good year for many of the KPIs who have seen dramatic results and shifts in their businesses. We were able to capture the evening; some comments from the clients, the awards ceremony and all the fun!
We have had the privilege of working with many KPIs this year and contributing film content and social media solutions to their businesses. It has been a fun and exciting year! Thanks KPIs!

Maximise Your Book Launch
If you go through the journey of writing a book, naturally you want to celebrate in style and launch your book in an impacting way.
Capturing your book launch on film is essential to ensure the success of your event spreads even further.
It is a great way to remember the night personally and to record it for posterity. It allows your to share the highlights of the event with people who couldn’t make it. It is also very good for your brand as your can use it as a resource for potential new clients and partnerships.
When capturing your book launch on film, make sure to get interviews and reviews from happy guests, any speeches made and lots of shots of the festivities; people eating and drinking, book signings, handshakes, merchandise, the venue, etc…
Take a look at these examples from Adele Theron’s ‘Naked Divorce for Women’ book launch.

Build a Social Media Strategy from Scratch
Last weekend Justine Priestley, founding director of RBM hosted a workshop with Caroline Marsh’s Mastermind Alliance. The focus of the day was to help the group of entrepreneurs create for the first time, or review, their social media strategy for 2012.
The group was able to chat through some of their blocks with social media, including:
Unsure of what platforms to use
Overwhelmed by using too many platforms
Confused or not technically able to use the platforms
Not confident or scared about saying or doing the wrong thing
Frustrated at not seeing quick results
Forgetting about updating the platforms and letting them become stale
They were able to get clarity on some different platforms and which would be most suitable for their businesses, including:
Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress Blog, Ecademy, Slideshare, Vimeo, Instagram, LinkedIn, Hootsuite.
AND They were able to build a strategy for the next 90 days! Here are some of the exercises used on the day to help the Mastermind Alliance build their social media strategy and content plan:
1. What are your goals for your social media, big picture?
EG. To become a leader in my filed, to be the ‘go-to’ person in my location, to make quality connections with others in my industry, to be on the cutting edge of my niche, to increase leads and sales in my business.
2. What are your goals for the next 90 days?
EG. To establish my social media routine, to follow or connect with leaders and mentors as well as peers in my industry, to improve my Facebook fan page and make it an exciting forum for my customers, to read and respond to blogs, to embrace Twitter and find the niches that I love to be involved with, to create a striking introduction video for my YouTube channel.
3. What are the niches that you/ your business is apart of?
4. What are the main keywords related to you/ your business?
5. What themes emerge from your keywords that will help construct a content plan?
6. What tone of voice is most authentic to your business that you’d like to portray?
7. Who are the other thought leaders, mentors or key players in your niche/s?
You can use these answers as the basis for your content plan, goals, and a more detailed strategy for your online media.
From there: have fun, be genuine, focus on relationships, focus on quality and just keep showing up!

Book Launch Captured on Film
Chris Davies, co-founder of Engage Partnership Ltd recently launched his first book, ‘Winning Client Trust’.
The book speaks of the Retail Distribution Review and the UK Financial Services industry’s battle for its clients’ hearts and minds.
Feedback for the book has been overwhelmingly positive and the book launch held in October 2011 was a great celebration.
Really Bright Media was there to capture the atmosphere, the highlights and importantly; the guest feedback!
If you are hosting an event, especially something as important as a book launch, it is imperative to capture it on film so you can share it with others long after the event has finished.
Chris has reported great ‘wins’ since his book launch including new partnerships and bulk book orders.
