48 Hour Film Project
Recently we participated in a 48 Hour Film competition run by 48 Film Project. Collaborating with Story Culture, we were given a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue. We had to turn these elements into a script for a short film, shoot, edit and upload within one weekend!
Having been involved in the 48 Go Green Film Competition in the past, we knew to expect a tumultuous but exciting 48 hours. Team work is crucial in these situations and our small crew of seven people worked amazingly together, with everyone tackling their area of responsibility with gusto!
We were given the following components:
- Genre – Romance
- Character – James Aniston, Security Guard
- Prop – Garbage Can
- Line of Dialogue – Sir, do not move. Stay where you are.
Take a look at the finished product here.
Teams can enter the competition throughout the year and voting on the submissions will be open to the public From December 1st until December 15th , 2013.
