48 Hour Film Project

Recently we participated in a 48 Hour Film competition run by 48 Film Project. Collaborating with Story Culture, we were given a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue. We had to turn these elements into a script for a short film, shoot, edit and upload within one weekend!

48 film projectHaving been involved in the 48 Go Green Film Competition in the past, we knew to expect a tumultuous but exciting 48 hours. Team work is crucial in these situations and our small crew of seven people worked amazingly together, with everyone tackling their area of responsibility with gusto!

We were given the following components:

  • Genre – Romance
  • Character – James Aniston, Security Guard
  • Prop – Garbage Can
  • Line of Dialogue – Sir, do not move. Stay where you are.

Take a look at the finished product here.

Teams can enter the competition throughout the year and voting on the submissions will be open to the public From December 1st until December 15th , 2013.

Documentary: Alexander Lewis’ Resort Collection 2012/13

Alexander Lewis is a talented designer; one to watch. He has recently launched a resort collection for 2012/13.

We had the exciting job of following Alexander around with a camera, capturing the highlights of putting his debut collection together.

We attended fittings, reviews with the milliner, explored Alexander’s workspace to capture his creative processes and conducted a lengthy interview to uncover how this collection – and Alexander’s new label, his namesake – came to be.

After many hours spent deciding how to best present our material (there was a*lot* of footage), it finally culminated in this short documentary, which we are proud to launch today. Take a look:

We were able to capture the evening; some comments from the clients, the awards ceremony and all the fun!

We have had the privilege of working with many KPIs this year and contributing film content and social media solutions to their businesses. It has been a fun and exciting year! Thanks KPIs!
